The connoisseur in me

I suffer from short term memory, well its actually Selective-Memory Loss. Thats besides the point. The point is, I've been a foodie for a while now. I have hit some of the restaurants in Bangalore and have either loved or simply disliked the food. Here are some of the satiaters (I can say what I want, this is MY blog!) in Bangalore.

1. Tangarine
100ft. Road, Indiranagar (Beside Bean Stalk)

My all time favourite! My friends and colleagues have turned a deaf ear to this name. I can rave and rant about this place for hours on end. Brightens up my day, this Tangarine. I guess it is a chain. I had been to their Chennai outlet first, and I became a fan. Was upset because I was unaware of its counterpart in Bangalore. When I learnt of its existance here, hastened to the place! I returned with a smiling face and happy tummy.

Serves excellent steaks and sizzlers. Their desserts are a must-try!
Meal for two would be around 600.

2. Elements
Nandidurg Road

Again, a good place for sizzlers. The ambience is excellent. If you're looking for the Indian touch, take a seat upstairs. Place tends to attract a lot of crowd, book in advance if you're too many people and if you're going for dinner.

Meal for 2 would be around 400.

P.S: Does not have vallet parking, you'll have to park on the side roads. Also, drive slow once you're on the road leading to the place, you may just miss it.

3. F&B
St. Marks Road (The right after Richie Rich)

Multi-cuisine, serves good continental food. This would be an ideal place for family dinners. Would be a little tough on your pockets, the food is worth it!
You must try their desserts, especially Tiramisu. Yummilicious!

P.S: Ask for a Vodka based sour Kiwi Cocktail.

4. Samarkhand
Gem Plaza, Infantry Road.

Afghan food. Needless to say, excellent chicken. If there is anything I regret, its giving up non-veg. My last memories of chicken are at this place. Mouth-watering! (Indeed is) If I ever turn into a carnivore, it'd have to be here.

Meal for two would cross 1000, again, worth the money!

5. Sheesh Mahal,
Lavelle Road

North Indian food. Serves good veg and non-veg Kebabs. Beautiful ambience- white and blue.
I liked the Kebabs here, both veg and non-veg.

Sheesh Mahal:

I tot the place has closed down now, but yes.. good food.
Vouch for the kababs and the biryani too! tho service could be a triffle slow, and ambience could have been a lot better thinkin of the amount of space available!
